Woven exists:
To build and strengthen supportive relationships between believers who God is calling to minister to orphans through adoption or foster care, enabling them to connect, encourage and equip one another while bringing glory to God and His kingdom in the name of Christ;
To help the church see and experience God's heart as He cares for orphans and see lives transformed by the power of the gospel as believers live out their faith;
To mobilize the church to be Jesus and care for orphans by feeding them, both spiritually and physically.
Our purpose is to mentor, inform, support and care for families wishing to grow their family through adoption or foster care.
Our goal is to bring glory to God as He shows families how He would use them to bless the lives of children who would otherwise be orphans.
Our mandate is scriptural--Isaiah 1:17
Woven is currently meeting monthly at 4:00 PM at Cottonwood Creek Baptist Church. Check the church webpage or Facebook for upcoming meeting dates and topics.
Woven is lead by Keith Tyler, Worship & Missions Pastor also Jay & Terra Towne with additional support from several volunteers.
